My Approach & Philosophy
Hello!
I am a master’s student in my final year of the clinical social work program at East Tennessee State University and a pre-licensed student intern, here to hold space and grow with you. I will be offering support under the supervision of a licensed clinical social worker with Resilient Mind Counseling.
I am here to engage in a collaborative experience with teens and adults, utilizing an eclectic approach to provide you support and deep care. My approach is intersectional, sex-positive, and trauma informed. I am especially enthusiastic to work with individuals who are of a queer or trasngender experience.
I have worked in the realm of mental health in various capacities over the last fourteen years, showing up for diverse populations in many settings, including: crisis services, case management, transitional living, school-based support, harm reduction, and peer support. My current position is as a Lifeline Supervisor with The Trevor Project, a national suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ+ young people.
