My Approach & Philosophy

Therapy with me is real, collaborative, and human. I show up as my full self and invite you to do the same. My goal is to create a space where you can breathe, reflect, and begin to feel more at home within yourself—without judgment, pressure, or pretense.

I discovered I was neurospicy and diagnosed with ADHD right before grad school—though I’d had my suspicions given my family history. That understanding helped me see myself and my needs in new, affirming ways. I’m also a survivor of intimate partner violence, and that lived experience shapes my compassion, my pace, and my belief that healing isn’t about fixing what’s “broken,” but about building capacity—to feel, connect, and live fully.

When I say I meet clients where they are, I mean it. I create a space where you don’t have to censor yourself, mask, or minimize your truth. You can cry, cuss, question, or rest. Together, we work to expand your capacity for joy, connection, and self-trust—moving beyond mere survival toward a life that feels aligned and sustainable.

My approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, neurodiversity-affirming, queer-affirming, and grounded in intersectionality. I draw from Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Feminist Theory, CBT, and somatic practices to help you reconnect with your story, your body, and your sense of possibility.

As a Black, neurodivergent, non-binary femme, I hold deep respect for the experiences and resilience within Black, Brown, and Indigenous communities, and for those navigating the complexities of multiple marginalized identities. My goal is to co-create a space that honors both your pain and your power—where healing feels accessible, embodied, and real.

Healing isn’t about perfection; it’s about capacity. It’s about reclaiming who you are and learning to live in alignment with that truth, even when the world tells you otherwise. If you’re ready for therapy that feels authentic, grounded, and affirming, I’d be honored to work with you.

You Deserve to Feel Great. I’m Here to Help.
