My Approach & Philosophy

Therapy is a place to dream, scream and put it all back together again. You will arrive again, to a place where you know that you are worthy and you do not have to hide. There is a future where you are welcome without wearing a mask. There are people that will show up for you. The real you. You deserve to find them.

Growing up in the rolling hills of Appalachia, I learned from a young age that it is important to have your “people.”   Living in Appalachia with intersectional identities I’ve also learned that it is hard to find your “place to belong.”

As a gender expansive, chronically (ch)ill, Neurodivergent, Indigenous person, it has been hard to trust that people will show up for me. Then, I found one person that I could trust, then another, and then a community began forming. This is not easy and it is possible. There ARE people that will show up for you – an unmasked you, the real you.  Let’s find them together.

I want to know what brings you alive. I want to know what makes your soul light up. I want to know what brings you out of the cave, even slightly. Tell me what it is … Is it Indie-folk music? Evening sunsets? Digital Art? Bugs and insects? Hairless cats? These are some of my glimmers. Let’s find your light together.

I want to let you know that I have experienced that moment when the light looks like darkness first. Maybe right now it looks like phone calls at 11:00pm, therapy twice a week, wiping tears with dirty laundry (… I promise it’s clean), and waiting for 3:00am to become 7:00am. That’s okay. Let’s sit in that together.

Finding your light and sitting in the darkness both allow for the freedom of becoming, to become all that you are, without fear of judgment. Let’s get started because you are ready. Text or call me for your free 15-minute consultation.

You Deserve to Feel Great. I’m Here to Help.
