My Approach & Philosophy

Raising a family is hard. Trying to balance work, chores, childcare, and dinner can be miserable. And what about raising happy, fun, joyful kids?

Fatherhood is complicated. Longstanding messages tell us that we need to be “breadwinners” and “providers,” among other things. We often feel that fatherhood is supposed to look a certain way. In reality, fatherhood looks different for everyone.

I became a father in an “unconventional” way. I met my daughter when she was a little over a year old. She is not related to me but we could not be any closer. I have been there when she has a fever in the middle of the night and can’t sleep. I’ve dealt with my own stress thinking about how I would get through the next day at work if I am up all night. I manage tantrums and power struggles. I navigate the endless “I’m hungry”s. It can feel overwhelming at times.

Ready for an opportunity to talk about you, your family, and your parenting? This is an opportunity to feel even better than you do now. Grab the snacks and water bottles and changes of clothes and backups of all of those and let’s head out to discover.

You Deserve to Feel Great. I’m Here to Help.
